I joined The Gear Shop team in Morocco to document their road to the Dakar Rally. The Rally du Maroc was their first FIA rally and just reaching the start line was a massive achievement for a small Canadian team with no experiencing building their own race car. The race didn’t get off to the best start when a garbage truck sized T5 race truck ran over the left side of the car. The team showed the determination and grit to make it to the finish and qualify to race the biggest race of them all - the Dakar Rally.
